Crafting with shrinky dink (SD) material and polymer clay.  Raw clay on SD is not compatible.  The clay eats at the SD plastic.  Here's hoping the cooked clay does not adversely affect the SD.

I've been decorating the SD with Prisma color markers and sealing it with nail varnish by Sally's.  The Prisma color marker is like alcohol inks in a pen form and is easily removed from this SD if scratched or comes into contact with rubbing alcohol.  The nail varnish tends to bubble a bit when cooked at PC temps.

I glue the SD "spyglass" on with superglue and that reaction tends to make the SD go from clear to cloudy.  I then reinforce the "spyglass" with Apoxie Sculpt - coloring it with Pearlex powders or acrylic paint.  The look is that of old glass which is cool but I would like it to be little clearer.
